Recent Work – Stained Glass Panels – St Brigid’s Chapel, Clonard College Geelong (featured on homepage). Story: Designers: Reba Woodwiss csb. Clonard Principal 1983. Staff member 2008 – 2013. Tarryn Love, a proud descendant of the Gunditjmara and Kirrae Whurrong people and former Clonard student designed the indigenous cultures panel. Creator: Torben Rusz, Westcoast Leadlights. Glass painters: Ferguson Stained Glass: Andrew & Peter Ferguson, sons of John Ferguson, est. 1952. The windows are a glorious telling of the universe story commencing with the flaring forth leading onto creation, indigenous communities, Jesus’ story, the early Christians, Celtic Christian Ireland, St. Brigid, Daniel Delany, the re-founding of the Sisters of Brigid journeying to Australia, arriving in Geelong, establishing Clonard and our new Kildare Ministries. The ribbon burst towards the door as a sign of moving forward….. the windows will be a beautiful teaching tool to help unfold the story of Clonard’s charism to the school community.
